Instruction on the Method and Procedure for Replacing Damaged Convertible Mark Banknotes Damaged by Dyeing Due to Electrochemical Banknote Protection Equipment
The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued this Instruction to establish the procedure for replacing convertible mark banknotes damaged by dyeing from electrochemical protection equipment. The Bank replaces these notes at full nominal value, either free of charge if damaged during theft attempts or for a fee if damaged by improper handling or equipment error. Banks must submit specific applications and evidence of authenticity, with complex analysis required and paid for by the bank if initial verification is inconclusive.
