SEC Guidance on Postponement of Annual General Meetings Due to COVID-19
The Securities and Exchange Commission issued this circular to permit issuers to postpone Annual General Meetings until 30 June 2020 or conduct them electronically. Postponed meetings must continue receiving required financial disclosures, while electronic formats require verified shareholder notification measures. Once health authorities declare mass gatherings safe, all deferred meetings must be held within twenty-eight days.
