D2/2012: Amendments to Form BA200 under the Amended Regulations relating to Banks
The South African Reserve Bank’s Bank Supervision Department issued Directive 2/2012 to mandate enhanced credit risk reporting for banks, foreign branches, controlling companies, and auditors. Effective 1 January 2012, the directive amends Form BA200 by incorporating lines 491 to 513 across columns one through twenty-six and introducing three additional columns for exposure analysis. Institutions must submit the updated data via SARBDEX in Extensible Markup Language format and return a signed acknowledgement of receipt to the Registrar’s office.
