Securities and Exchange Board of India (Portfolio Managers) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025
The Securities and Exchange Board of India issued the 2025 Amendment Regulations to modify the 2020 Portfolio Managers Regulations, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette. The amendments substitute Regulation 20 to reference Schedule IV and revise Regulation 22 to mandate that portfolio managers provide a Disclosure Document in the Board-specified format along with a certificate in Form C prior to entering into client agreements. Additionally, Schedule V of the original regulations is deleted to streamline compliance requirements.
