Days that Banking Corporations’ Offices are Open
The Supervisor of Banks mandates that banking corporations must keep offices open on all days except official Israeli holidays and customary closure days, with specific exceptions for January 1, Purim, and the ninth of Av. Banks must provide advance public notice via websites and branch entrances when reducing hours or temporarily closing branches to avoid breaching customer contracts. Significant permanent changes to branch operations require 30 days' notice, alternative service options, and fee-free account transfers for customers who wish to leave within 60 days.
