Supervisory Policy Manual Module CA-D-1: Guideline on the Application of the Banking (Disclosure) Rules

Authorised institutions (AIs) must publish Pillar 3 disclosures concurrently with financial statements, no later than 8 weeks (quarterly), 3 months (interim), or 4 months (annual) after period-end. AIs must establish a documented disclosure policy within 6 months of authorization, maintain an online archive of statements from June 2013, and lodge copies with the MA before publication. Additional disclosures must be meaningful, comprehensive, and subject to independent senior management review. AIs may seek exemptions from the Banking (Disclosure) Rules (BDR) by demonstrating sustainable de minimis status or pre-commencement status to the MA.
