Compliance of the ACPR with the European Banking Authority guidelines on the application of the group capitalization test for investment firm groups in accordance with Article 8 of Regulation (EU) No 2033/2019 (EBA/GL/2024/03)

The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared itself compliant with the European Banking Authority guidelines of 11 April 2024 on the application of the group capitalization test for investment firm groups in accordance with Article 8 of Regulation (EU) No 2033/2019 (EBA/GL/2024/03).

These guidelines are applicable from 1 January 2025 by the ACPR and financial establishments, as referred to in Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010, which fall within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2019/2033 or Directive (EU) 2019/2034, who must do everything in their power to comply with them, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing a European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority).
