The Bank of Slovenia issued this regulation to formally apply the European Banking Authority's guidelines on remuneration benchmarking, gender pay gaps, and approved higher ratios to its supervised banks. It mandates that banks fully incorporate these guidelines into their reporting practices while requiring the central bank to align its supervisory exercises with the specified data collection and analysis standards. The measure repeals the previous 2016 regulation on remuneration benchmarking and became applicable on 31 December 2022.
