Insurance companies must submit quantitative and qualitative data via BaFin’s MVP Portal using specific XBRL or alternative formats for quantitative parts and PDF/A for qualitative parts. Submissions require zip archives and files to follow strict naming conventions including registration numbers, entry points, and reporting periods. Quantitative parts of Forms F.612.01 and F.030.03 must be transmitted together with other quantitative forms having the same deadline, and corrections necessitate the resubmission of all related quantitative or qualitative parts for the financial year. Failure to adhere to these format and content requirements results in the rejection of the data records.
