Special Notice for Individuals on the ISIS and Al-Qaeda Sanctions List
The UN Security Council Committee, in cooperation with INTERPOL and the Monitoring Team, issued an annual update covering 1 July 2015 to 12 December 2016 that lists names and new biometric data for 74 individuals and four entities on the ISIL and Al-Qaeda Sanctions List. The document incorporates newly designated entries, amendments to existing listings, and biometric additions such as photographs and fingerprints submitted by Member States. Authorities are encouraged to continue providing biometric data for future INTERPOL-United Nations Security Council Special Notices, with the next update scheduled for December 2017.
