BRPD Circular Letter No. 43: Name change of Agrani Bank Ltd to Agrani Bank PLC
Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of Agrani Bank Ltd to Agrani Bank PLC, effective Wednesday, 4 October 2023 (19 Ashwin 1430), pursuant to Section 11C(c) of the Companies Act, 1994. This change was formalized through Gazette Notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(3)/2023-8311, issued under the authority of Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. Scheduled banks are notified to take necessary action regarding this name change.
