The Guilford Savings Bank filed an application to change its name to Ascend Bank pursuant to Section 36a-82 of the Connecticut General Statutes. Written objections may be submitted within 30 days from the date of publication on the grounds that the new name tends to confuse the public. Comments should be directed to Banking Commissioner Jorge L. Perez within ten business days of the bulletin's date.
