The Connecticut Department of Banking approved the relocation of The Guilford Savings Bank branch from Madison to Madison. The Commissioner issued an Order to Cease and Desist, Order to Make Restitution, and Notice of Intent to Fine against Connecticut Foreclosure Division Corp. and Alfred R. Beauchamp for violating the Connecticut Uniform Securities Act by selling unregistered promissory notes and misusing investor funds. A Consent Order was entered against Hawthorne Advisory Group, LLC and William D. Heiden Jr., barring Heiden from transacting business in Connecticut until a FINRA arbitration award is paid.
