The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Bank of England to establish a loan production office in Norwalk and granted Farmington Bank permission to open a branch in South Windsor. The Commissioner imposed $50,000 fines and permanent cease and desist orders on Sky Watch Media and its president for selling unregistered securities and violating antifraud provisions. A debt adjuster license was revoked for Credit Counseling Solutions, Inc. for failing to maintain a required surety bond. Additionally, the Department issued notices of intent to impose civil penalties against four mortgage entities for failing to file required NMLS reports and entered a consent order revoking the licenses of Anilom Mortgage Corporation and Samuel Molina, Jr. for misstatements and net worth violations.
