The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Savings Bank of Danbury’s intent to open four new branches and three loan production offices in West Hartford, Simsbury, Farmington, and Wallingford. The Commissioner issued a consent order against ProEquities, Inc., requiring the firm to cease aiding violations of the Connecticut Uniform Securities Act and pay a fine of $8,207.55. Additionally, consent orders were entered against P.I.C. Property Funding Corp, Lightning Mortgage Inc., Mortgage Assistance Company LLC, and Turnkey Financial Services LLC for failing to timely file required mortgage call reports, resulting in civil penalties of $1,000, $2,500, $2,500, and license surrender, respectively.
