The Connecticut Department of Banking approved United Bank to consolidate two branches in Enfield and two in Suffield, and approved Signature Bank to establish a de novo branch in Greenwich. A temporary certificate of authority was issued to Voya Institutional Trust Company for a trust bank in Windsor, and a loan production office for Bank of England in Branford was approved. The Department fined George Jay Prussin $5,000 for selling unregistered promissory notes and issued enforcement notices against Central Credit Services, Emory Enterprises, and Network Capital Funding for licensing and operational violations. Additionally, US Mortgage Corporation paid a $2,500 civil penalty and JD Financial Services surrendered its license following consent orders for reporting failures.
