The Connecticut Department of Banking revoked the consumer collection agency licenses of Evans Law Associates, P.C., Windsor Law, P.C., and Wingspan Portfolio Advisors, LLC for failing to maintain required surety bonds. The Department also entered into a Consent Order with Crossroads Finance, which paid a $500 civil penalty for failing to update its main office address with the NMLS and the Commissioner. Additionally, the bulletin announced the upcoming closure of a Savings Institute Bank & Trust branch in East Lyme, CT, on November 13, 2015, and invited public comments on branch applications within ten days.
