The Connecticut Banking Commissioner entered into a Consent Order with James Farrell, prohibiting him from holding any position as a director, officer, employee, or independent contractor with any bank, credit union, or related holding company without the Commissioner's consent. This restriction stems from alleged violations of Connecticut General Statutes Sections 36a-53a, 36a-54, and 36a-454b(f), as well as conduct warranting removal from office. Farrell is also required to pay a $10,000 civil penalty as part of the agreement.
