The Connecticut Department of Banking approves The First Bank of Greenwich to establish a full-service branch in Port Chester, NY, and notes that United Bank has filed to establish a full-service branch in Westport, CT. Farmington Bank is scheduled to close its Loan Production Office in Branford, CT. Additionally, the Commissioner entered into a Consent Order with Aldous & Associates PLLC, requiring a $5,000 civil penalty for operating as an unlicensed consumer collection agency, and issued a Notice of Intent to Issue an Order to Cease and Desist and impose a civil penalty against PBCM of West Virginia, Inc. for making false statements.
