The Connecticut Department of Banking approved United Bank to open a limited branch in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and a full-service branch in Westport, Connecticut. Additionally, the Banking Commissioner entered a Consent Order against former agent Walter John Dubiel, barring him from transacting business in Connecticut for seven years, fining him $10,000, and ordering him to cease and desist from regulatory violations related to sharing confidential credentials with an unregistered individual.
