The Connecticut Department of Banking announces the closing of a loan production office by First Bank of Greenwich and the opening of a branch by Mutual Security Credit Union. The Commissioner imposed a $5,000 civil penalty on Deily & Glastetter, LLP for operating as an unlicensed consumer collection agency. Broker-dealer Wilbanks Securities, Inc. had its registration revoked and canceled due to cessation of business and FINRA membership cancellation. Trevor M. Allen, Sr. was fined $100,000 and subject to permanent cease and desist orders for selling unregistered securities and violating antifraud provisions. ProEquities, Inc. was fined $7,500 and ordered to reimburse an investor for supervisory failures, while Vir-Sec, Inc. and Christopher Murphy received orders to cease and desist and make restitution for offering unregistered securities.
