The Connecticut Department of Banking announces the opening of a full-service branch by Savings Bank of Danbury in Stamford and the filing by Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union, Inc. to open a full-service branch in Southington. The Banking Commissioner imposed a $20,000 fine on AFT Logistics, LLC for selling unregistered securities and violating antifraud provisions, and levied separate $20,000 fines on managing members Brandi Freeman and Javeir Johnson for identical violations.
