The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Northwest Community Bank to establish a full-service branch in Simsbury and accepted notices from Savings Bank of Danbury to close five loan production offices. The Commissioner initiated proceedings to deny broker-dealer registration to NYPPEX, LLC and revoke Laurence Geoffrey Allen’s agent registration based on a New York preliminary injunction alleging fraudulent acts. Additionally, a Consent Order required Solium Financial Services LLC to cease unregistered broker-dealer activities and remit $51,136, comprising a $49,296 fine and $1,840 in past due fees, following a multistate investigation.
