The Connecticut Department of Banking revoked the mortgage loan originator license of Cristobal Lara Garcia due to license revocations in other states, false statements on his application, and lack of character fitness. Additionally, the Commissioner entered a Consent Order with former broker-dealer agent Fernando Manuel Paiva, fining him $5,000 and ordering him to cease and desist from violations related to failing to disclose an unregistered branch office and an unsatisfied judgment.
