The Connecticut Department of Banking approves Fairfield County Bank to establish a full-service branch in Danbury and New Haven Bank to establish a full-service branch in West Haven. The Department entered a Stipulation and Agreement with A.G.P./Alliance Global Partners, LLC, requiring a $2,500 fine and voluntary reimbursement for investors affected by unregistered securities sales. A Consent Order permanently bars Pratik KC from selling securities or transacting business in Connecticut, staying a $41,500 restitution and $50,000 fine for three years based on inability to pay. An Amended and Restated Order to Cease and Desist and Notice of Intent to Fine were issued against Clipper Capital Group LLC, T&T Capital Partners LLC, and Steven Alan Tavares for selling unregistered promissory notes and violating antifraud provisions.
