The Connecticut Department of Banking suspended the mortgage lender licenses of Guaranty Home Corporation effective September 30, 2023, due to its failure to maintain a required surety bond, and issued a temporary cease and desist order pending revocation proceedings. Additionally, the Commissioner issued an order to cease and desist and a notice of intent to fine against Archer Micro Cap Value Fund and Artemis Capital Group L.L.C. for selling unregistered securities and acting as an unregistered investment adviser between May 2015 and January 2017. Both entities were afforded the opportunity to request a hearing regarding the allegations.
