CA 17-2: Revised Interagency Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Sampling, Verification, and Resubmission Procedures
The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System issued this letter to provide revised interagency procedures for sampling, verifying, and resubmitting Home Mortgage Disclosure Act data. These guidelines, developed by the FFIEC Task Force on Consumer Compliance, apply to all Federal Reserve-supervised institutions and govern HMDA data collected beginning January 1, 2018. The document specifies that these new procedures will be incorporated into comprehensive revised examination procedures while existing protocols remain in effect for data collected prior to that date.
