CIB Circular No. 01: Resetting the threshold of submission of Credit Information to the CIB Database
The threshold for submitting credit information to the CIB Online System is reset to Taka 1, requiring all banks and financial institutions in Bangladesh to upload data for loans with an outstanding balance of Tk. 1 and above on a monthly basis. This obligation includes credit card data regardless of whether it is positive or negative. March 2018 batch contributions must be uploaded by May 10, 2018, while subsequent monthly batches are due by the 20th of the following month. The circular takes immediate effect.
