CIB Circular Letter No. 01: Regarding cut off time of Monthly Batch Contribution to the CIB database
The document amends the cut-off time for monthly batch data contributions to the CIB database, requiring all scheduled banks and financial institutions in Bangladesh to upload data on or before the 15th of the following month, effective January 2022. This change updates Section 3 of CIB Circular No. 01/2018 and Section 3(ka) of CIB Circular No. 02/2011, which previously set the deadline at the 20th. The revised rule mandates that every bank or financial institution upload borrower credit information with an outstanding balance of TK. 1 or above, including credit cards, by this new deadline. The circular states that these amendments are effective immediately.
