Circular CSSF 19/709 — Introduction of quarterly internalised settlement reporting requirements pursuant to Article 9(1) of EU Regulation No 909/2014 (CSDR)

Credit institutions incorporated under Luxembourg law, Luxembourg branches of non-EU credit institutions, and specific investment firms must submit quarterly internalised settlement reports to the CSSF. The first report is due within 10 working days from the end of the first quarter following 10 March 2019, with subsequent reports due within 10 working days from the end of each calendar quarter. Submissions must be transmitted via E-File or SOFiE using XML files that adhere to a specific naming convention and are archived in ZIP format. The reporting templates require that overall total cells equal the sum of financial instruments, transaction types, and client types in both volume and value.
