Circular CSSF 24/868 regarding amendments to Circular CSSF 19/719 on EBA STS criteria for securitisation
Circular CSSF 19/719 is amended to incorporate the EBA Guidelines on the STS criteria for on-balance-sheet securitisation (EBA/GL/2024/05). The amended circular requires originators, original lenders, sponsors, securitisation special purpose entities, investors, and third parties verifying STS compliance to apply these new guidelines. The CSSF expects all in-scope entities to implement the integrated guidelines and new guidelines to ensure consistent interpretation across all three EBA guidelines.
