Subject: Law 12,683 of July 2012.

Dear Directors Responsible for CVM Instruction No. 301, of April 1999,

1. Considering the publication of Law No. 12,683, of July 2012, which amended Law No. 9,613, of March 1998, particularly to give new wording to Article 11, II,
   we inform you that the communications currently provided for in Article 7 of CVM Instruction No. 301, of April 1999, must be made, starting on August 13, 2012, directly to the Financial Activities Control Council - Coaf.

2. At this time, the following general guidelines follow to support access to Siscoaf by persons obligated by Article 2 of CVM Instruction No. 301/99:

3. We also inform you, regarding the communications provided for in item III of
   the same legal provision (Article 11), inserted by Law No. 12,683, of July 2012, that the Securities and Exchange Commission is already studying the necessary changes to the regulation, as well as the technical issues necessary for the receipt of the aforementioned communications.
