Circular Letter No. 3857 — Amends the text of Circular Letter No. 3,819 of May 4, 2017, which alters the Layout and Filling Instructions of Document 3040 - Credit Risk Data

The Head of the Financial System Monitoring Department (Desig), using the authority conferred by Article 23, item I, letter “a”, of the Internal Regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, annexed to Ordinance No. 84,287 of February 27, 2015, based on Article 77, item III, of the aforementioned Regulations, and considering the provisions of Resolution No. 4,557 of February 23, 2017, Circular No. 3,567 of December 12, 2011, and Circular Letter No. 3,540 of February 23, 2012,

RESOLVES:

Art. 1º Article 2 of Circular Letter No. 3,819 of May 4, 2017, shall be effective with the following wording:

“Art. 2º .........................................................

§ 1º For institutions classified in Segments 2, 3, 4 and 5 (S2, S3, S4 and S5), in accordance with Article 2 of Resolution No. 4,553 of January 30, 2017, the submission of information relating to items II and III shall only be mandatory as of the reference date of May 2018.

§ 2º A period of 4 (four) months of assisted production of the information referred to in items I to III of this article is established, with respect to the reference dates indicated in Article 1 and the preceding paragraph.” (NR)

Art. 2º This Circular Letter enters into force on the date of its publication.
