CIRCULAR N. 003337 ------------------ Amends the fees of the Reserve Transfer System (STR), referred to in Annex II of the regulation annexed to Circular 3.100, of 2002. The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on 19 December 2006, having regard to the provisions of Chapter VII of the regulation annexed to Circular 3.100, of 28 March 2002, D E C I D E D: Art. 1 The fees of the Reserve Transfer System (STR) are amended in the form of the table in the annex. Art. 2 This circular enters into force on the date of its publication, producing effects: I - as of 2 April 2007, when Circular 3.121, of 19 April 2002, shall be revoked, for the services dealt with in the annexed table, except as provided in item II of this article; II - 30 days after its publication, for the new service covered by item "iii" of grouping "II.b.2" of the table, which shall be offered as of then. R$3.10 (three reais and ten centavos) shall be charged for the settlement account statement provided by means of electronic file (item I.h). 4 - The fees for operation under partial contingency regime (R$3,000.00) or full contingency regime (R$6,000.00) are charged cumulatively with the individual fees per message and the individual fees per message contained in the file, where applicable. 5 - Amounts charged on the business day following that of the triggering event. 6 - The amounts provided for in item II.b.2.iii are due regardless of the effective sending of the messages contained in the file
