Credit institutions and foreign branches must submit Remuneration Benchmarking and High Earners data to the MFSA in both XBRL and Excel formats starting with the 31 December 2020 reference date. Remuneration Benchmarking reports are required from all credit institutions excluding branches, while High Earners reports are required from all credit institutions and branches of third-country institutions. Submissions must be made via the LH Portal using the Supervisory Reporting taxonomy, and institutions with no High Earners data must notify the Authority by email. Institutions must ensure no data differences exist between the submitted XBRL and Excel files and must not alter the provided template formats.
