Columbus Bank and Trust Company Notice of Surrender of Trust Charter and Claims Deadline
The Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance announces that Columbus Bank and Trust Company is surrendering its state trust charter pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 8-215. All absolute or contingent claims against the institution must be submitted in writing to Director Kelly Lammers by June 23, 2026. Upon verification that the bank has been lawfully relieved of all fiduciary duties, its pledged securities will be released from regulatory hold.
