Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2005 amending mapping tables for external credit assessment institutions
The European Commission amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1799 by replacing Annex III to update the mapping tables that correspond credit risk assessments of external credit assessment institutions to credit quality steps under Regulation (EU) No 575/2013. These updates reflect changes in quantitative and qualitative factors, new rating scales, and symbol amendments for existing agencies, while adding mappings for two newly registered agencies and removing those for two deregistered ones. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
