Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1872 amending mapping tables for external credit assessment institutions
The European Commission amends Annex III of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1799 by replacing the mapping tables that specify the correspondence between external credit assessment institutions' credit risk assessments and the credit quality steps set out in Regulation (EU) No 575/2013. These updates reflect changes in quantitative and qualitative factors, new rating scales, and name or symbol changes for specific institutions, while removing mappings for three deregistered external credit assessment institutions. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
