Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2006 amending credit quality step mappings for external credit assessment institutions
The European Commission amends the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1800 by replacing the table that allocates credit assessments of external credit assessment institutions to an objective scale of credit quality steps. This update reflects changes in quantitative and qualitative factors for existing mappings, incorporates new rating scales from two newly registered agencies, removes mappings for two deregistered agencies, and adjusts symbols for one agency that modified its rating categories. The Regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
