Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1820 amending mapping tables for external credit assessment institutions under Solvency II
The European Commission amends the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1800 by replacing the mapping tables that allocate credit assessments of external credit assessment institutions to an objective scale of credit quality steps. These updates reflect changes in quantitative and qualitative factors, new rating scales, and name or symbol changes for specific institutions, while removing mappings for three deregistered entities. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
