Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/2365 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1801 on mapping tables for ECAI credit assessments for securitisation
The European Commission amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1801 to update the mapping tables for external credit assessment institutions (ECAIs) regarding securitisation positions. These changes align the credit quality steps with the 18-step structure introduced by Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 and incorporate mappings for newly registered ECAIs while removing those for deregistered ones. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
