Counter Terrorism and Iran-related Designations; Counter Narcotics Designations Removals; Issuance of Amended Iran-related Frequently Asked Question
The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued an amended Iran-related Frequently Asked Question, FAQ 1257, and updated its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (SDN List). OFAC added five individuals and twelve entities, primarily linked to Iran and operating in the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Singapore, Poland, and Georgia, to the SDN List under various Iran-related and counter-terrorism authorities. Concurrently, OFAC removed five individuals and three entities, mainly associated with counter-narcotics designations in Colombia and Mexico, from the SDN List.
