Counter Terrorism Designations; Iran-related Designations
The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control added numerous individuals, entities, and vessels to the Specially Designated Nationals List. These designations target networks supporting Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood under Executive Order 13224, as well as entities involved in Iran's energy and shipping sectors under Executive Order 13902. The action imposes asset freezes and prohibits U.S. persons from engaging in transactions with the listed parties to counter terrorism financing and secondary sanctions risks.
