CP24/8: Extending the SDR regime to Portfolio Management

The Financial Conduct Authority proposes to extend the Sustainability Disclosure Requirements and investment labels regime to portfolio management services, including model, customised, and bespoke offerings. Portfolio management offerings may use a label if at least 70% of the gross value of assets are invested in accordance with the sustainability objective, and firms must comply with naming, marketing, and disclosure rules. The proposed timeline requires firms to begin using labels and comply with naming and marketing rules by 2 December 2024, with entity-level disclosure deadlines set for 2 December 2025 for firms with assets under management greater than £50 billion and 2 December 2026 for those with assets under management greater than £5 billion.
