CSA issues temporary exemptions from collection of certain personal registration information
Coordinated Blanket Order 33-930 provides temporary exemptions under National Instrument 33-109 by removing requirements for registered firms and individuals to submit certain personal information when applying for individual registration or seeking review as a permitted individual. The order takes effect on May 1, 2026, and serves as an interim measure until NI 33-109 is formally amended. Similar relief is granted concurrently in Manitoba and Ontario under commodity futures legislation, and in Québec under derivatives legislation.
