CSSF Regulation No 15-03 on Marketing Foreign Alternative Investment Funds to Retail Investors in Luxembourg

This regulation establishes the procedure and conditions for marketing foreign alternative investment funds to retail investors in Luxembourg, requiring prior authorization from the CSSF. Authorized funds must be managed by a single manager, comply with risk-spreading rules including investment limits and monthly price calculations, and appoint a Luxembourg-based paying agent. The CSSF grants authorization only after the completion of the notification procedure for professional investors and upon receipt of specific documentation, including a prospectus addendum and supervisory certificates.
