CSSF Regulation No 16-06 on ex ante contributions to the Fonds de Résolution Luxembourg
The Resolution Board establishes the calculation methods and amounts for annual ex ante contributions to the Fonds de Résolution Luxembourg. Institutions with total liabilities excluding equity and guaranteed deposits not exceeding EUR 300,000,000 pay lump sums ranging from EUR 150 to EUR 650 based on specific liability thresholds. Entities with liabilities exceeding EUR 300,000,000 pay a base of EUR 650 plus a variable amount derived from unit tranches to ensure the annual target level is met. Contributions are notified by 1 July each year and must be transferred to the Fund within 10 days, with daily penalties imposed for late or partial payment.
