CSSF Regulation No 22-06 on the Countercyclical Buffer Rate for Q4 2022
The countercyclical buffer rate applicable to relevant exposures located in Luxembourg remains set at 0.50% for the fourth quarter of 2022. This decision is based on a credit-to-GDP gap estimated at -10.9% in the second quarter of 2022, which is below the 2% activation threshold, alongside other indicators suggesting systemic risks associated with excessive credit growth. The regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Journal officiel du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg.
