CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 127, OF JULY 26, 1990

Gives new wording to the caput of Article 8 of CVM Instruction No. 118, of May 7, 1990.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION - CVM makes public that the Collegiate Body, in a session held on this date, based on Article 177, § 3, of Law No. 6,404, of December 15, 1976; and on Article 22, sole paragraph, items I, II, IV and VI of Law No. 6,385, of December 7, 1976 and considering the reasons set forth in the Explanatory Note of the aforementioned CVM Instruction No. 118,

HAS RESOLVED:

Art. 1 The caput of Art. 8 of CVM Instruction No. 118, of May 7, 1990, shall be effective with the following wording:

“Art. 8 The quarterly information of open companies subsequent to those that include the month of March 1990 shall be subject to special review by independent auditors, according to the methodology provided for in Technical Communication CT-IBRACON No. 2, of July 23, 1990, of the Brazilian Institute of Accountants, approved by Resolution CFC No. 678, of July 24, 1990, of the Federal Council of Accounting.”

Art. 2 This Instruction shall enter into force on the date of its publication, applying to the ITRs subsequent to those that include the month of March 1990.
