Convertible debentures with high liquidity are admitted for trading. Operations in futures, forward, and options markets require guarantees: twice the market premium or 10% of exercise/spot price (whichever is greater) for puts/calls, and 20% of position value for forwards/futures. Guarantees are due daily; positions close if unpaid by the first business day following the transaction. Brokers may use up to 10% of bank guarantees per client. Stock Exchanges must establish calculation methodologies and communicate them to the CVM prior to implementation. This instruction amends CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 120 and enters into force upon publication.
